ECOCERT = EKO = USDA = AB
The ECOCERT is a control and certification organisation accredited by USDA for NOP certification. The ECOCERT label is a mark of recognition for organic farming. Organic farming respects water resources, soils and biodiversity, it is energy saving and produces fewer greenhouse-effect gases.
The EKO and BLIK (Bio Garantie) are international quality symbols of organic farming and their subsequent food products.It can be used when ingredients originate (is spelt wrong on current webpage) from organic cultivation and are processed using organic methods. EKO and BLIK (Bio Garantie) means, at least 95% of the product's ingredients comes from inspected organic farms according to regulation EEC #2092/91.
